Updated: Sep 13

"When a nomad finds his nest. A story about interiors that become a home. ..."

... writes AD Polska in its article about the "Hoch 3" project in Zurich, where we created a unique refuge for our client in a Zurich rental apartment.

Architectural Digest, 6.24 about an interior design project by Localia Interiors: rental apartment in Zurich
Interior designer Christine Schumacher says of this realization that this is a perfect example of a project that transforms a standard apartment into a unique place. It is a story about how interiors become a shelter, a real asylum, they tell the story of an individual, they express their passions and aspirations.

"Project "Hoch3"

- For me, this project was not only interior design, but also a close look at how the nomad begins his new story, settles down and builds his own nest," says the designer.

Play of colors The living part flows smoothly from the seating area to the dining room and then to the kitchen, which in turn leads to the second floor. Each space is boldly defined by color. The deep, dark shade of blue calms, accents in warm golden tones - a bar with old siphon bottles and a freely thrown blanket - bring lightness to balance the wooden brown of the leather armchair and the sumptuous carpet. In the kitchen, olive green cabinets attract attention. In the center of this room is a round table, which provides a smooth passage to the stairs._Localia Interiors_AD Polska 6.2024

Neutral colors have made their mark in the bedroom, the green accent here is thick. A lot of natural light shines into the interior through the atrium, which is designed as an inner garden on the roof on the second floor. In addition, the guest room has its own roof terrace. The customer was delighted with the result of the designer's work, he recommended it to his friends. The author of "Hoch3" even invited to the inauguration.
