Voucher for an interior design consultation - a wedding present

I never thought I would be a wedding present myself.👰🏻🎁

A few weeks ago, I received an inquiry via my website:

“Do you also offer vouchers for interior design consultations?” Of course…I’m happy to!

However, when I heard that it was intended as a wedding gift , I hesitated for a moment:

But. Wouldn't the maid of honor want to give her friend (no pressure, please 😅) a neutral voucher so she could choose the interior designer for her new home herself? After all, interior design is very personal ! But she was sure—even though she didn't know me—that it would be perfect! So, of course, I'm in and would be happy to issue the voucher for the interior design consultation!

And... I realized how appreciative such a gift is, something you might never even treat yourself to. Anita, the maid of honor, had explained to me how important it was to her that her friend had a good start in her new home and felt comfortable.

The two got married in early September (I've never been so excited about the wedding of someone I didn't even know!).

Shortly thereafter, the newlywed recipient contacted me. An discovery video call and an onboarding briefing later, we met at the end of September in their new home (a 25-year-old house, freshly painted, with beautiful new oak flooring and plenty of quirks), which they had moved into three days earlier.

We had an inspiring brainstorming session , lots of ideas, and a wonderful meeting in the midst of a new beginning. A blank canvas, ready for their shared story.
